The Tiguan has a towing capacity of 1,500 lbs, when properly equipped. The Volkswagen Tiguan is equipped with just one engine option, making the maximum towing capacity apply to all trim options. Even though the Tiguan may not have been created to pull an enormous camper along, it does still offer functional towing capabilities in a family friendly and handsome package. Whether you’re going to work or towing the jetski to a new location, the Volkswagen Tiguan is able to help.

The curb weight of the Volkswagen Tiguan ranges from 3757-3847 lbs, depending on the configuration of the drivetrain. The Volkswagen Tiguan ground clearance is 7.9 inches. The minimum ground clearance of the Tiguan won’t allow for any big time off-road drives, but that’s not the role of the Tiguan. The VW Tiguan was crafted to offer stylish and safe transportation for up to 7 adults. Great Salesperson. But the service department just made whole experience not worth the headache of going back and forth. I have never experienced a place that wouldn't service what was sold.
