Tow capacity of the VW Atlas is as much as 5,000 when paired with the 3.6L V6 engine and equipped with the factory towing hitch. The VW Atlas paired with the 3.6L V6 engine and SEL Premium trim has the heaviest curb weight of 4,612 lbs.
The Atlas has a ground clearance height of 8 inches. While heading off road may not be a part of your daily drive, the added safety of 8-inches of ground clearance height can still prove useful in town. Large speed humps and steep parking lot ramps will be no match for your Atlas.

Donte was waiting for me after the paperwork was done. He walked me through the new updates to the Tiguan. I was very pleased with the process.
Very fast service at a good price. Excellent communication! The woman who helped me (Leilani) was friendly and helpful from the start.
When we arrived we were told it is a busy time, Although, the wait was long; there is a nice lounge and clean restrooms. Our car was serviced, inspected and washed! We had a very good experience and will recommend this dealership to friends.

Well my appointment was at 7:30am. My car wasn’t ready until 3:30. All I needed was an oil change and windshield wipers. I tried to contact my service rep multiple times for an update but it would go to voicemail every time. I eventually just called the service center and was able to get an answer. I can understand that things get busy and you get behind. But the lack of communication was disappointing. Well my appointment was at 7:30am. My car wasn’t ready until 3:30. All I needed was an oil change and windshield wipers. I tried to contact my service rep multiple times for an update but it would go to voicemail every time. I eventually just called the service center and was able to get an answer. I can understand that things get busy and you get behind. But the lack of communication was disappointing. It threw off my day waiting to hear back from y'all, and when it was finally ready I wasn’t able to pick it up. So I had to do an after hour pick up. I normally have fine experiences here, but this time has been frustrating.
